1. They last a long time. A single coat lasts me about a week before chipping, maybe less if I’m doing a lot of work with my hands. With the full monty – another coat and top coat – it’s lasted even longer.
2. No DBP (dibutyl phthalate), formaldehyde, or toulene. Thanks to a much-needed reformulation in 2006, O.P.I.’s polishes are free of these three highly toxic ingredients. I remember having to throw out a nail polish stash due to these same health concerns…and eventually restocked with O.P.I.
3. Whatever color you want, they’ve got it. This brand churns out more collections than you can keep track of, with every shade under the sun! One of my more memorable – and sadly, returnable – experiences was with a shocking, Barbie pink.
4. It looks professional. Sometimes I don’t put enough polish on the brush and end up making a big, uneven mess when I try to go over it again. This polish is my saving grace, because another coat manages to smooth everything right out, and it has a nice glossy finish when it’s dried out as well. Definitely money well-spent.
